Hotel Antico Borgo was wonderful. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We stayed here with friends just bed & breakfast. Breakfast was extremely good and there was a good variety of continental choices. Rooms were spotlessy clean and very comfortable for the time we spent in them , which was to shower/ change before dinner and at night to sleep. The service from all the staff was second to none , restaurant staff , reception staff , house keeping.. all were outstanding. The hotel was in a fab location right in the heart of Riva del garda with restaurants and bars in abundance. You certainly wouldn't go hungry. Recommend the Speedy Gonzalas day boat trip on a Weds or Friday. Two of our favourite Restaurant were 1 ) Al Vaticano 2 ) Leon Dora Riva. There were many more that I cannot recall the names of. Please pay no attention to negative reviews . All was amazing at Hotel Antico Borgo ??

Ne suivez pas les conseils de la réception : vous ne pouvez pas stationner votre véhicule dans la zone piétonne pour décharger/charger! Nous venons de recevoir 7 mois après,une amende de 85€ à 190€ , avec photo de notre véhicules pris par des caméras automatisées dans la zone piétonne en contrebas où nous avions stationné une dizaine de minutes. à bon entendeur…
Soggiorno veramente soddisfacente in questo hotel silenzioso situato in centro e nello stesso tempo non lontano dal lungolago. Siamo state accolte benissimo fin da subito da Anna e da tutto lo staff, tutti gentilissimi, professionali e disponibili per non parlare poi dell' ottima cucina..... Se mai dovessimo tornare a Riva , risceglieremo sicuramente questo Hotel!
Abbiamo soggiornato dal 1/11/24 al 3/11/2024 in questo hotel . Cominciamo subito ad elencare i punti positivi : - si trova in una posizione strategica praticamente nel cuore della città del lago di Garda quindi pratico per chi non ama spostarsi in macchina. - personale cordialissimo e preparato -gli spazi dell’albergo sono davvero ampi e ha uno stile moderno sopratutto la hall appare prestigiosa e di lusso -colazione al buffet davvero ottima -servizio di’ reception h24 Ora ahimè elenchiamo i punti negativi : - non c’è nessuna convenzione con qualche parcheggio, non dispongono di nessun posto auto come dovrebbe essere in un hotel a 4 stelle altrimenti se c’è non ci è stato fornito Camera: - il phon non funzionava in modo costante ma probabilmente aveva una funzionalità a tempo dopo 2 min di utilizzo si spegneva e dovevi aspettare per 10 min con i capelli bagnati che ripartisse - il mini bar praticamente vuoto (e ammuffito in alcuni punti )quando aprivi il frigo anziché aspettarti delle bevande c’era un biglietto con scritto di rivolgersi alla reception )per averle le bevande booooh (foto in allegato - le tende oscuranti erano tipo “incollate “ e non riuscivi a stenderle tutte quindi al mattino ti svegliati con il sole negli occhi . (Foto in allegato ) - la cena era deludente prodotti surgelati senza sapore -il menù non era chiaro per quanto riguarda gli allergeni e non specificava quali prodotti erano surgelati ( foto in allegato) -alla mattina per fare colazione abbiamo dovuto aspettare 10 min perché si liberasse qualche tavolo
Nice hotel in the centre of the old town, 2 minute walk from the harbour. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. We wete given packed breakfasts when having to leave the hotel early. The breakfast selection is probably the best I have encountered. Well done.
